We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to present you with a novel concept: turn the grill on for breakfast.
I’ve been enjoying grilled pizza so much that I had to give it a try with breakfast pizza.
I followed our Grilled Pizza Recipe to a T, but instead of sauce I used sour cream as a base, and piled on scrambled eggs, potato and onion hash, some garden tomatoes, and green onions.
Definitely a hit. Give grilled breakfast pizza a try, the kids will think it’s hilarz to have pizza for breakfast.

MMm! My husband makes the most wonderful homemade tortillas (I'm so spoiled!). I wonder if I could use those to make a breakfast pizza, minus the sour cream (ewww). Maybe add some chunky salsa. My mouth is watering already!

Jamie-My mom makes what you are describing on a crisped corn tortilla and it's AMAZING for breakfast!

I love the whole “breakfast pizza” concept. One of our tricks has been to buy the premade pizzas at the grocery store. Buy the small single serving cheese pizzas. Cheese gives you your basis and you simply add to it. My wife tops them with all the usual goodies. Including mushrooms, sausage (chorizo is favorite for breakfast) and who knows what else.
I have got to try it with the tortilla crust.
Thanks for the great post!
