This Sewn Hats giveaway could not have come at a better time. With all this cool weather heading our way (I think it got down to 95 degrees in LA, woohoo!) making a new hat is the perfect fall project. Sewn Hats has got you covered on 35 hat patterns to choose from. In the cover image alone you can see the array of hat styles to choose from – warm winter hats, caps, even a cute 1920s cloche hat. How much fun would it be to make these party hats below? They are my favorite, along with the Do-Rag. Why? Oh, just because they are a little Prudent Baby contribution to the book!

Sewn Hats is a collaboration of hat designs from 29 of the industry’s most-loved fabric designers, pattern designers, and bloggers (yours truly). The collection features a variety of hat patterns for all genders, sizes, ages, and fashion sense. Seamstresses will find options in a vast array of styles that use a wide variety of fabric types, from felt to silk, corduroy to cotton, and everything in between.

Check out the adorable Little Engineer Cap and find out how to enter for the chance to win a copy of Sewn Hats after the jump…
To enter for the chance to win a copy of Sewn Hats tell us your favorite style of hat. I love an old style boater hat. For additional entries tweet, stumble, or share the giveaway on Facebook and leave a comment each time. Come back and leave a comment every day from now until September 24th at midnight. We will announce the winner here on Prudent Baby.
Sewn Hats has been traveling the world wide web. Check out the book tour below…

Love a floppy brimmed sun hat!

I prefer a great wide brim, preferably one that can cover the back of my neck. For the young ones, I like a cute little fishing hat with a brim all around.

I love the chef’s hats….so sweet. Thanks.

Oooh, my head is far larger than the average head, even “large” hats don’t fit me. Making my own hats to fit would be so much easier than finding a hat that fit my head.

…and my favorite hat, though I can’t pull it off, is a bowler. My most favorite hat I ever owned, which I rocked all through high school, was a Greek-style fisherman’s hat.

love that chef’s hat! Too cute!

Just a regular baseball cap. Keeps the sun out of your eyes, and it’s super causal.

Love the chef’s toque on the kid. So cute!

My favorite is the Capri hat.

The favorite for me is a floppy, big brim in the summer but more like a cloche in the winter to keep my head warm. I also make hats for my grandchildren and my grandsons would LOVE this hat! It’s just darling!!!

Ooh! I don’t even know if there’s a specific style this is called – I like wide brimmed sunhats, slightly floppy like it’s still the 70′s – I only wear them in private and on vacation though!
