Hi! Thanks for this opportunity! I am a mom of a toddler with another baby on the way. I really appreciate the crafting with kids posts–in particular the “spin drum” instructions. I love reusing everyday items in crafts in general and I think it’s a great way to teach kids about the reuse and recycle concept. Crafting was a huge part of my childhood and I’m so grateful for ideas for crafting with my own kids! xox
[Reply]
I’m fairly new to your blog and to the crafting world in general, so I really appreciate your posts on how to do simple sewing and craft techniques. I think my favorite was on how to gather fabric. Thanks for helping a girl out!
[Reply]
How could I choose a favorite!? I love fabric Fridays and I love all of the superlative posts. So creative!!!
[Reply]
I love all the crafting ideas that I can use with my kids. Plus you pick the best fabric on Fridays that always can lend some inspiration.

Wow! What a great giveaway. I don’t have a particularly favorite moment but when I do a search for “prudent baby” I have tons of your articles saved to reference- everything from your crib sheet tutorials to 2-minute french toast in a cup. It was awesome finding your blog while I was pregnant last year with my first child. The advice has been invaluable!
[Reply]
I love your tutorials! The snap top is my favorite, but I’ve made a few ohers.
[Reply]
I have been in love with this website since my first baby was born. He loves the recipes; I think his favorite is the French toast in a cup. But now I have a girl and the pillow case dress and the snappy toddler dress are my favorites for her. I recently found the fold-over clutch and have made many for Christmas gifts. Thank you for all of the inspiration. Keep it up.
[Reply]
Love the sewing tutorials – the pillow case dress and fold-over clutch are big hits around here!
[Reply]
The Recipe Binder!
[Reply]
My favorite post was the racerback dress. It helped me conquer my fear of knits, and I loved the results so much my daughter and nieces all wore versions of the dress all summer! Thank you!
[Reply]
Look at all this great loot! I am new to prudent baby… with a baby on the way. I don’t quite have a favorite post yet, but have found some DIY sewing posts helpful and inspiring.
[Reply]
I love your fabric Fridays. So much fun to see your ideas for my new grandkids!
[Reply]
Well, I love “Hot-mess-mommy” because I feel like a hot-mess-mommy almost all the time. And I laugh at loud with all the wine drinking going on. Also, I’ve made 6 snappy toddler dresses and counting…
[Reply]
I enjoyed your post on the bow clutch. It’s in my deep list of to-dos, but I hope to make it some day!
[Reply]
My favorite Prudent Baby DIY, hands down, is the nap roll. My toddler uses it every day at school and I love that it washes up and rolls up easily keeping everything together. I added a little ribbon to the inside where we used to tie in her lovie (a stuffed cheetah) for the first year she used it. That way she could have a snuggle at nap time but it wouldn’t get lost! -Alexis
[Reply]
Love Fabric Fridays, of course, and your sewing tutorials! I love all the little dresses!
[Reply]
I loved the outdoor sofa you made last summer. It’s on my to-do list for someday when we have a yard
[Reply]
I love the tutorials on how to re-purpose old tshirts or other things and make them into fun dresses for girls. I’ve yet to try any of them but they sure do inspire to break out my sewing machine.
Also love the Hot Mess Mommy posts.

i think your website was the first one i started reading regularly after i became pregnant with my first kiddo. i love all the sewing tutorials-it’s too hard to pick a favorite.
[Reply]
Only one? I can’t pick all of the kids clothes? I guess I’ll say how to add sleeves to the jersey dress then because I was really intimidated by sleeves until i actually tried it and realised how easy it was.
[Reply]
My favorite tutrial was on how to make your own bias tape out of any fabric. Life-changing!
[Reply]
Love the blog but most recently used the crayon apron tutorial and the coffee cake in a mug, which was really good!
[Reply]
I like the post on how to make dress up wings. This Halloween my friend and I made them for our kids. They came out great!
[Reply]
I love the DIY Succulent wreath (plus tons of other crafty goodies, too!). I haven’t made it yet, but I think it’s really lovely and maybe someday I’ll get around to making one!
[Reply]
Pick one favorite?! Ohh that’s too hard, but right now, I’d have to say the french toast in a cup has saved breakfast for me many times! Ohh and I just found your reversible bonnet that has made it to the top of my to do list for my little baby girl due in Jan.
[Reply]
My favorite prudent tip is new. The how to clean your blender tip is so simple and it makes cleaning the blender so easy!
[Reply]
I love your tutorials, but I think my most recent favorite post was the Robot Themed Party that you posted! I have a little boy and I think he would love this.
[Reply]
I love alot of your features, and save all kind of ideas. One of my favorites was the DIY pillowcase dress pattern.
[Reply]
I really appreciated your tutorial on how to do an applique using an embroidery machine.
[Reply]
I am partial to the first project I ever tackled…the pillowcase dress. As I had only ever used my sewing machine for mending, when I reflected that I had made a dress I felt so empowered!
[Reply]
I’m fairly new to Prudent Baby – and to motherhood – but I love fabric fridays! I get so much inspiration.
[Reply]
i love fabric fridays. what can i say? i love tradition … and fabric.

I first discovered Prudent Baby when my daughter was three months old (she’s now three) and you gals honestly got me through my first year of motherhood! It was fantastic for me to have such fun projects to dream about, and help me get started with blankets, bibs, and I especially love the matching mother/daughter Christmas aprons from your cute tutorial. You are inspiring!!
[Reply]
I discovered Prudent Baby back before I had a baby, and I used to scroll through wishing and praying! Now that I have my own little lady, I make her all kinds of things. I’m currently working on a fleece hooded poncho.
[Reply]
I love the patchwork stocking, and I’m planning on making one for my new little guy!
[Reply]
It’s very hard to choose my favorite. But, I would say the changing pad cover tutorial is something I’ve used the most. It make a great gift for new mom, because let’s face it, changing pad covers get soiled frequently and you can never have too many
[Reply]

[Reply]

[Reply]
Helloooo! From Argentina! I really love you and I have lots of favourites moments, but I really admires you girls when you write fron your hearts, and laugh a lot when I write in FB from my husband account, Jorge, and you know it is me, but is sounds so absurd Jorge saying “I am a fan, girls! hahaha”
Love you and hope it is an internationall contest!

[Reply]
Prudent Baby opened the door to crafty mommy blogs for me. I don’t know how I missed it all for so long, but I was so glad to find so many inspiring posts and diy’s. Prudent Baby taught me how to develop patterns from what my kids already had, pushing me out of needing to purchase a pattern for everything. Thank You!

[Reply]
My favorite was definitely when you made a dress – with Liberty of London fabric – without a pattern!!! Liberating.
[Reply]
My favorite thing about Prudent Baby is that everytime I need a tutorial, I know that I can go to PB first because you most likely have exactly what I’m looking for!!
[Reply]
I am still in love with the first post that brought me your way-the DIY nap mat! =)
[Reply]
I love to sew SO Fabric Fridays and the sewing tutorials are definitely my favorites!
[Reply]
I love all the crafting tutorials and the sewing tips!

[Reply]
Pick my favorite Prudent Baby post?! How can I choose… I did love the diy wings around Halloween but I have to say you do a great job with everything.
[Reply]
My favorite prudent moments are when Jaime or Jacinda (names that sound like they are twins, right?) show us a space renovation. I loved watching Jaime’s patio come together, loved the video. And Jacinda’s porch and laundry room were really fun, too. Love these creative mamas!
[Reply]
Have so many of the ideas but garden treasure hunts are my favorites…. a big chalk… the list written large on the driveway and off they run… collecting 1 Snail shell. 2 white pebbles 3 straight leaves. 4 Curly leaves. 5 shells 6 small stones 7 yellow flowers etc
There little basket comes back full of delights. (Sometimes I hide chocolate coins for them to fine too…)
[Reply]
I have found so much inspiration and many great ideas from your post, thank you!!! Right now, I’m jiving on the felted fringe Christmas tree skirt. I’m in dire need of one and have a bunch of felt already in my stash, I really don’t want to have to ask my mom to bring hers along again this year
Thanks for the great give away!
[Reply]

I loved the quilt binding post…always need a reminder when I get to that point so yours is bookmarked
Thanks for the opportunity!
[Reply]
I love the do it yourself avent calendar! Such a clever idea and great for those goodies that don’t fit in the traditional box. I have three boys now and they LOVE opening something every day…it could be a penny and they’d think it was the best in the world. If I had larger items I’d leave notes in the boxes and send them on a scavenger hunt…but this is much better…I can scatter them all over the house and make them find the right one! Thanks so much for the clever tips!
[Reply]
I really have enjoyed your tutorials. But one of my favorite reads has been Jacinda’s and Jamie’s babble post answering questions about themselves. It made you two even more relatable. Your honesty has been great throughout the blog and Facebook.
[Reply]
I loved the recent post with the stuffed animal foxes, too cute!
[Reply]
I loved the collection of easy-peasy stuff for kids. It just kills me some of the stuff that’s out there that is fantastic for little kids (babies/toddlers) but they charge highway robbery.

[Reply]
Aarrgghh! I can’t pick just one!!! I’ve tried/used many over the year or so I’ve been a reader. Probably some of my more recent faves have been the easy blender cleaner trick (yay! so easy now to clean the beast!) and the two minute Nutella Cake saved the day for our family night last Monday! (Bad mommy for not buying a treat earlier in the day…but we all LOVED the Nutella cake-yum!)
Thanks, ladies, for what you do, and keep up the great work!

How to can tomatoes (without a canner)! I’ve been using, printing and sharing this post for two years. And will be enjoying the fruits of our labor (pun – ugh!) at dinner tonight!

I loved the FB post “hand cramp” picture. It made me laugh and think about all of the little things we do for our kids that they never know about because we love them so much, including holding up their head while they nap in the car. Tied with that is the prince lego/figure in the coffe cup.
Thanks for posting the little things that give me a smile each day.

First, I love this site! I’ve been an avid visitor for slightly over two years, and a fun project makes its way to my table every visit! I think my favorite Prudent Baby moment happened when I was eight months preggo. I was an emotional disaster and my sweet hubby was doing his very best to retain sanity for the both of us – I was nearly done with THE baby blanket for our first kiddo and had continuously run into disaster while making the bias tape. After my third try I just ran out of patience and ripped the bias tape right off the blanket, of course tearing the soft blanket fabric to shreds in the process … and promptly started sobbing. My (amazing!) hubby listened to my babbling before suggesting searching on that “smart baby” website I loved – and I was then introduced to your bias tape tutorials, which I still use. Your suggestions saved the blanket, and I’ve been eternally grateful.
You also introduced me to Pinterest, which has killed some of my work ethic but richly enhanced my crafting life!
[Reply]
The tute I use the most is the scotch tape cat eye trick video. So, I’d have to say that’s my favorite PB moment!
[Reply]

[Reply]
My favorite Prudent Baby DIY is how to make bias tape, so useful!!
[Reply]
Thanks for the giveaway! I love all Jaime’s posts, especially her hair and outfits ones. My favorite was the family road trip post, and the “I have to go pee” line in order to get hubby to pull over so she can check out the shops. SO funny- love you guys!!
[Reply]
I love your recent gold leaf video.
[Reply]
I am currently obsessed with making my own bias tape… which I didn’t even know you could do until I read about it on Prudent Baby. Got myself one of those fancy little machines and have spent about the last 10 hours of sewing time making tape, tape and more tape!! I love the stuff! I even made 9 of the bias tape fabric (reversable!) purses for Christmas gifts. Am currently working on adding tape to an existing long-sleeved peasant top for my 2 & 4 year old daughters. So much fun!
[Reply]
I am just learning to sew and love your tuts! But the hair posts have helped this back to work mom the most!

My favorite Prudent Baby post was the series on sewing with knits and the stocking competition last year.I made my daughter a cool toddler friendly activity stocking with the helpof all your info and she loves playing with it and it looks great too!
[Reply]
I love all the crafting ideas and have used several of them!
[Reply]
I appreciate all the obvious love and thought that goes into every post, so it’s tough to choose….but you gave me the courage to try shirring elastic, and I am ever so grateful!
[Reply]
I recently started following you after finding your tutorial for making the sweetest tooth fairy pocket. Right now the felt creation is waiting on a shelf in the closet. My daughter is so eager to lose her first tooth. I think my sweetest Prudent Baby moment will be when I give it to her to put under her pillow. I can’t wait!
[Reply]
I love fabric fridays and I love all the patterns and ideas for clothes for my little girl.

[Reply]
This is totally cheesy, but my favorite Prudent Baby moments are when you are physically together creating videos or tutorials! Your happiness in getting to see each other is infectious. I also love how much one of you (Jaime, I think?) loves champagne.
[Reply]
You have lots of great posts and the ‘I’m in love Fridays’ are always fun, but my one favorite post is the one for making teacup candles. I had seen many pictures of teacup candles but didn’t know how to make them; I know now though! All I’m waiting for now is to find the perfect teacup!

You have so many fabulous posts, that like a lot of people, it is hard to pick just one. In particular though, I am inspired by the do sewing crafts that you post and realize, once I get my sewing machine set up, that I could probably make most of the things that you post. And of course, they are all adorable! Thank you for being such an inspiration!
