Giraffes are my all time favorite animal! I am super in LOVE with this fabric!! For valentines day I am working on a fairy wreath crown and some new felt food for my two year old. I also have a friend who just found out she is pregnant so I am starting to collect some fabrics for a quilt that this would fit with so well!! Love is in the air!

I’m thinking about making a heart garland. If I can find some free time!

I probably will just send my daughter a handmade card. My honey is gone so I don’t really have anyone special to make something for.

Goodness, by Valentine’s day, I’ll hopefully have a one-week old baby, so I don’t think I’ll be making any crafty plans for that day.
[Reply]
I am planning on making a growth chart for my little girl- giraffes would definitely be appropriate!
[Reply]
Picked up some heart doilies, pom poms and pipe cleaners from the Target $1 spot. Not sure what to do with it all just yet
[Reply]
so funny that you posted this- I just bought a bunch of this line for my baby’s nursery (she’s due next week!)- I had been waiting patiently for it to come out because it’s so darling, and the giraffes are my absolute FAVORITE pattern in the bunch. Anyway, I will have a newborn at Valentines day, so who knows what will actually happen, but I would love to make her a sweetheart of a sweatshirt dress to wear with her white tights with little red hearts. classic.

This fabric is absolutely adorable. I have no idea what craftiness i’ll get into for Valentine’s Day. I might make a small little quilt or some pot holders.

This fabric is adorable! I will definitely be checking out the collection! As my belly continues to grow, I am thinking of making a top with an embroidered heart (like the one I saw at JCrew) for Valentine’s Day. I found a plain, but well fitted maternity top that could use some embellishment.

I tweeted the giveaway!

I’m thinking we are going to make flamingos from hearts and pipe cleaners.

Ahhhhhhh Valentine’s Day already?! I’m so behind, but I’ve enjoyed your tutorials in the past. I am so into that heart shaped wedge salad. I might whip that up for husband as a little date night surprise. You were so right about staying in for “Date night”…we haven’t been out to a restaurant to eat in forever!
[Reply]
What!?! I actually won something! Hooray! I totally love this weeks fabric too, but not sure my giraffe lovin boys could pull it off

Confession: I’m just finishing up my Christmas sewing. Maybe next week I’ll be ready to think about Valentine’s Day!

Felt heart garland…check, homemade valentines cards for pre-school(from Pinterest, of course)…check, and now I can add a quilted pillow using this fabric to my list.

I’ve been wanting a valentines wreath for the front door….and of course we’ll be making valentines cards!

I’ll hand-stamp some fabric with my daughter, maybe we can sew her a T-shirt.

That is the sweetest fabric!
For Valentine’s day I plan on doing the melted crayon shavings between wax paper hearts with my girls and filling our windows with their glowing goodness.

If I win this one it will be turned into art for my friends new baby boy that will be born any day now. The new baby had a name given to him by his big brother of 3 which is Baby Raffe. (shorty for giraffe) She would love it and what new momma couldn’t use some simple loveliness in their life.
[Reply]
I will be knitting a red scarf for a love one. Love the fabric! Thanks for the chance to win

Oh, so, so, so cute! Valentine’s Day…hmmm. My husband will be out of town but I’ve been meaning to make my elder son a stuffed animal (he’ll be 22 months, and thinks he wants a “monster”). And because I’m still breastfeeding the little guy and all I can think about is FOOD, I will probably make something chocolate-y and delicious and celebrate solo after I get the boys to bed!
