Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics, Organic, Birdie Spokes Sun is a wonderful fabric to use in a spring sewing project. I’d love to use it to make a new toiletries bag for myself, since I’m bursting out of the one I have on this trip. I think I’d like to use a bright teal fabric for the inside lining. I know what I’m doing when I get back.
To enter for a chance to win one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics, Organic, Birdie Spokes Sun tell us what spring project you have in mind for the season. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

This weekend I plan to show my daughter how to make an Easter dress for my friend’s daughter, who calls me Auntie Sarah… my friend is dealing with cancer/chemotherapy right now and the budget is tight, and the days tiresome for her. I know she would like to sew for her, so in the meantime we will take up the slack. I am hoping this brightens spring for them!
I discovered this site lookng for simple patterns for dresses, and this fabric with the little birdies would be perfect to make the little snap dress with! i can just see her running around in rain boots and her birdie dress
Happy Sewing All!

I just started working on a quilt or wall hanging with large circles, each circle has fabric that tells the story of my Granddaughter’s life, one circle per year. I’m going to create the circles and applique them on so I can go back and add on the next few years. I’m excited to finish one circle.
Thanks for the chance to win.
