Building Your Memory Box:

You will need:

-Paper Mache Hexagon Box (or any box your prefer)
-Paper
–Watercolors
–Hot Glue, epoxy, or any other strong adhesive
-White Acrylic Paint
–Twine
-Gem or crystal. I used Rose Quartz.

Start out by painting your box white.

When it is completely dry you can adhere the gem to the top of the box with hot glue or epoxy. I chose Rose Quartz because it is considered to be the love stone and is believed to open a person’s heart so that she/he can receive and give love easily to others.

I chose to make the paper for the notes extra special by painting it first. You can do this by simply painting the paper with watercolor. Once it’s dry, cut it up into rectangles or strips, whichever you prefer. If you’d rather not paint you can always buy decorative paper or even just use white paper.

Each time you write down a new memory, fold it up and secure with twine.

Place them in the box and watch it quickly fill up.
